February 28, 2010:
Peace in Focus is featured on NBC's "Urban Update." (after "Meet the Press") Executive Director Kyle Dietrich, Board President Thaddeus Miles, and two youth leaders, Geisha Colon and Antonio Stroud, discuss their involvement with PIF programs in Boston, and showcase some of their photography.

October 2009:
Peace in Focus launched its Collaborative Photography and Conflict Transformation programs in Monrovia, Liberia, in partnership with the Center for Media Studies and Peacebuilding and the Liberia Media Center, with the support of the UN Peacebuilding Fund, the Liberian Ministry of Youth and Sport, the Liberia Peacebuilding Office, and the Liberian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

August 2009:
Peace in Focus was awarded a Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI-U) grant for the second year in a row, to support its innovative youth programs in Boston, Burundi, and Liberia.

March 17, 2008: 
Kate and Kyle took Peace in Focus to the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) inaugural meeting in New Orleans, where they had an opportunity to discuss the organization with Bill Clinton, Brad Pitt, Lauren Bush, Eboo Patel, and university students from around the country. CGI U, www.cgiu.com, recognized them for their efforts to create Peace in Focus as part of a larger commitment to Peace and Human Rights.
